Provenzano began his career in Italy, racing regional kart events. In the category IC-A junior, he conquest podiums and victories in 2000 and 2001, in addition to dispute the Italian championship.

In 2002, in his first international event as an official driver of Tony-Kart, he got the pole position in the race, with 163 competitors, finishing in the sixth position. The driver finished the Italian and the European races always among TOP 10.

In the 2006 season, started racing with single seaters, in the Italian Formula Renault 2000, with the BMW Minardi Junior team and also raced a round of the European in Le Mans. He was runner up of the category in the winter league and the best rookie.

The driver also raced in Formula 3000 Euroseries (best rookie), Formula Master International (third in the championship, with several podiums), Formula Renault 3.5 World Series and GP2 Asia.

In 2010, start developing the work of coaching for some kart drivers and, in sequence, for formula drivers.

His professionalism and success as a coach led Francesco to join the team of DNA Racing. Provenzano is fluent in both Italian and English language.
